Do air purifiers really work?

Do air purifiers really work?

We have used many of our PureHome air purifiers in a lot of areas and we have had nothing but amazing results and responses from our customers. For example we have one in a local outlet that suffered from a major damp problem which meant the room felt stuffy and customers said it almost felt hard to breathe.

The customer then looked at the PureHome due to its ability to ionise and clean the air within short periods of time. When the air purifier was turned on for the first time in the shop the air quality indicator went straight to red because of the amount of dust and mould spores that were being caught by the HEPA filter and the UV light.

After a few hours of using the air purifier the air quality indicator started to decline to a more safe and presentable level in the green quality indicator.

A traffic light system will indicate overall air quality and provide immediate warning in the event that pollutants and particles have spiked. The LED light that runs along the top of the unit will change colour in the event of air quality change.

Many air handling and purification systems use filters including a HEPA filter. The PureHome only uses a HEPA-13 grade filter which is classed as hospital grade (hospitals will use between 13 and 16 grade HEPA filters). Our HEPA-13 filter will filter down to particles as small as 0.3 microns and has a 99.97% efficiency rate at catching particles. Smaller viral particles are zapped by the UV-C light chamber.
