Heating A Cornish Holiday Home

At the start of 2021 we received an enquiry from a lady who was looking for heating for a holiday home that they were renovating. When she first contacted us, she provided us with a link to the property listing which included a floor plan and dimensions. She also sent us some information regarding the type of property itself and what the intentions of the building were. With the property being a holiday home, we wanted to make sure that it was going to be as warm and homely as possible!
Whilst working out what heaters would be best suited for the property; we were in close communication with both the customer and their installer so that we could specify the best possible location of the panels to suit each room for the best results.
The customer ended up using a mixture of ranges throughout the property which included mirror panels in the bathrooms, bespoke print pictures for the bedrooms and sitting areas and ceiling heaters in the kitchen which had limited wall space.
As the property was a holiday home the customer wanted to be able to have full control over all the heaters while they weren’t there to ensure the heaters weren’t left on accidentally by holiday goers, to make sure the heaters were on in anticipation for a new booking and also to ensure they were at a frost protection temperature during times the property wasn’t occupied.
We ended up using Heatmisers system as they offer a fully wireless system along with app control so that she could control the panels away from the property whilst still allowing the people using the holiday home to control the heaters as well. Heatmiser also offer this set-up in a hardwired option as well called the NeoStat.
Delivery and installation
After discussing the ranges, controllers and best positioning with the customer and installer, the order was placed and then the product was delivered a week or so later once the custom prints were complete.
Once everything was installed, we contacted the customer the ensure that everything went smoothly and she was happy with her new heating system. She was delighted with everything and took the time out to leave us a five star Trustpilot review.
