Lumina LED Ceiling Heaters

No. The Lumina isn’t WiFi-controlled, it comes with a separate wireless wall-mounted controller (433.92MHz RF) that pairs to the panel. We do offer WiFi-enabled controllers on some of our other heater ranges, just not this one.

Yes. You can connect several Lumina panels to a single controller, which is handy for larger rooms or open-plan spaces. We run two Lumina heaters from one remote in our own content room.

Yes. The controller has a dual control system, heating on one side, lighting on the other, so each works independently.

The Lumina is IP20 rated so it can go in a bathroom, in the right place.

• Where it cant go: Zones 0, 1 or 2, the areas in and immediately around the bath or shower, up to 2.25m high.
• Where it can go: It can go in the outside zone, which is everything beyond them, and with a standard 2.4m ceiling that covers most bathrooms.

If your ceiling is lower than 2.25m, or you’re not sure where the zones fall in your bathroom, ask a qualified electrician to confirm before fitting. For the wet zones themselves, see our dedicated bathroom heater range instead.

No. The fixing brackets and the panel’s thermal design are built specifically for ceiling mounting, so it isn’t compatible with wall or suspension fixing.

It’s designed primarily as ambient or mood lighting rather than a dedicated bright ceiling light. However, depending on the size you choose and the tone you select, it can work as your only light source in smaller rooms like bedrooms and offices, up to around 4,800 lumens on the largest panel at its brightest setting.

For bigger or darker rooms, it’s worth checking the lumen output against what you’d normally expect from your existing light before relying on it alone.

Each panel is supplied with a plug for a standard socket, so most installations don’t touch the lighting circuit at all. A qualified electrician can hardwire it directly to the mains as an alternative. However, because it draws up to 800W, it needs a circuit rated for that load rather than a typical lighting circuit. We’d always recommend a qualified electrician confirms the right circuit for your specific installation.

Not in the sense of full colour-changing. You can switch between three white light tones, warm, neutral and cool, and adjust the brightness, but there’s no RGB or coloured lighting option.

For heating, yes, you can set schedules, a favourite temperature, the date and time, a child lock, and an open-window auto shut-off. The LED lighting itself isn’t programmable in the same way, you adjust its brightness and tone manually as needed.

Yes, using the +/- brightness buttons on the controller.
