Village Hall Heating

Village Hall Heating

A village hall in Warwickshire has been a venue for parish and local family events for more than 80 years. They are a registered charity run by volunteers and one of the most regular classes is a morning Pilates group. The class mentioned that the village hall was always cold and never got up to a good temperature. As one of the most regular groups to attend the hall, it was important to ensure that their voices were heard. The volunteers who run the village looked into an affordable heating solution that was also effective.

They got in touch with us and provided some useful information. This included dimensions, floor plans, insulation levels, window type and also the type of control they wanted.

One of our trained members of staff worked over the floor plans. They calculated the amount of wattage that would be suitable for the area. We proposed 4 of our 3.2KW Alpha bar heaters along with a 1.8KW Alpha bar heater on the stage area.
We also helped advise with controllers and they opted for a simple hardwired controller. This allowed them to adjust the settings to fit their schedule. This means that heating comes on just prior to any classes or meetings and the hall is lovely and warm when they arrive. They also no longer need to remember to turn the heating off, as the controller does it for them!

The people at the village hall were massively impressed with the heaters and couldn’t believe their savings after being converted to infrared. It massively lowered the running costs of heating and made a massive difference in the temperature.

Below is a picture of an email sent us by the village hall just a few days after the heaters were installed.
