How long does a Thermino heat battery take to heat up?

A Thermino heat battery will take between 2-3 hours to heat the PCM within a tank. It can be charged up overnight to make best use of night-time tariffs if you have these or can be powered from a Solar PV (if you go for a PV ready model) array or battery.

Standard hot water tanks will take around the same amount of time to warm up (usually a litre a minute).
