What To Expect From A National Show

You may have noticed that recently Warm4less have been involved in a number of national shows. Over the past few years we have attended shows such as the Eco build show at the Excel in London and the National Homebuilding and Renovation show at a number of venues, including the NEC Birmingham, Surrey and Harrogate.

Going to one of these shows is a great experience and can be a really informative day out. In this article we’ll talk about our experiences and give an honest insight into what to prepare for.

What to Expect From the Show

Shows like the ones stated above can be chaotic at times, and if not properly prepared you may not get as much value out of the show as you would otherwise. With some preparation, it can be a highly effective way of gathering information on all key aspects of your new home build, renovation or DIY project all in one day.

There are numerous companies that can help you with things such as windows, doors, sheds, smart homes, insulation, bespoke furniture, cooling and heating. There are industry experts that deal with architectural design, home renovation, interior design and home practicality.

There are industry experts that can give you high quality advice and suggestions about your project there and then. We strongly recommend bringing floor plans, drawings and sketches so they are well informed on what you want to achieve.

You will no doubt also come across things you hadn’t thought of before and maybe even things you didn’t know existed! Many stands will have combined experience of 100+ years so it’s well worth your while discussing your project with them.

On the other hand, if you’re not currently working on a particular project but need to gather ideas or inspiration, there is nothing better than talking to a real person and seeing hundreds of products first hand. You can swap out months and months of researching for good ideas and solutions for a one on one conversation with someone who is an expert in their field. Everything is under one roof!

What to Expect From Us

Companies take different approaches when speaking to visitors at the show and they have their own unique way of demonstrating their product.

At Warm4less, you will be greeted by one of our helpful, friendly members of the team who will guide you through your requirements and explain infrared in detail.

We know that it can be difficult sometimes to explain the technology of infrared over the phone or by email, so that’s why we have one of each range up and on display working.

It allows you to gauge what 600 Watts feels like, how a mirror actually appears, to see the print quality of our image panels.

You can get expert advice on the spot about anything infrared related. Whether that be running costs, installation, the best control system for you, what wattage would be required and the best ranges for your unique project.

All of the Warm4less employees who attend the show have great product knowledge and are fully trained to advise you, no matter how unique the application may be!

We have free brochures and leaflets that you can take away with you as well as full access to our website which a stand member can talk through everything we have to offer. (Also, our selection of sweets and biscuits is renowned!)

The Checklist:
  • Prepare in advance – Don’t leave it till the last minute if you really want to get the most out of a show. Circle the exhibitors that may be of interest but also keep an eye for those hidden gems. Plan parking and allow for traffic.
  • Bring someone along – This is great for getting somebody’s feedback and ideas when discussing different options.
  • Make sure you eat/drink! – The food court offers a wide range of bites to eat but can be busy during peak hours so a lunch bag and water bottle may be worth considering.

For more details about the shows we attend throughout the year, get in touch via our online chat service, email office@warm4less.com or call 0300 303 9625. We look forward to seeing you at the next show!
