We constantly remind people that far infrared red is not a specialist heating system but merely an alternative to traditional options.
However, from time to time we receive a specialist request. This case involved rare tortoises.
The owner’s priority was to ensure that these amazing reptiles were kept in the optimum environment similar to their original habitat.
Far infrared by definition is infrared rays at the end of the infrared spectrum, emitting the same heat as the sun. So now, this sanctuary of breeding tortoises are enjoying the heat of their super enclosure and successfully reproducing – so must be happy!
The owner has commented on the very low running costs and the zero maintenance. Previously, heat lamps had been used and constantly required replacements.
Once again we can confirm we have found the solution to one of our clients' needs.
